Due to industry demand, and support from Salesforce.org, we are very pleased to announce that we are launching a new intake of Software Development (Salesforce) apprentices and employers in January 2018.
With a nationwide skills shortage demand is higher than ever for this course and Step Forward is opening up the course to London-based employers and young people aged 17-24.
The course will run for up to 15 months, giving young people a job at one of Salesforce’s partners.
Step Forward currently works with employers of all shapes and sizes including Barnardo’s, Secret Escapes, VInspired and TATA.
Apprentices are given one day per week of professional development training and they are also trained in soft skills and encouraged to mix with people of different backgrounds to themselves in order to create diverse networks. This makes them well-rounded professionals that will bring maximum value to an organisation.
Thora Eberts, Head of Step Forward, says: “After our appearance at the Salesforce World Tour in May our Software Development apprenticeship has been going from strength to strength and we are really excited to be able to offer this to even more employers and young people. Apprenticeships have changed so much in the last few years and to be able work with a major organisations and world renowned software, like Salesforce, without a degree is an amazing opportunity that opens up the sector to young people of all backgrounds.”
